Foreword
| A Pidgin is a language, used primarily
for trade, which consists of less lexis than that of the original
language, and sometimes incorrect grammar as well. Many of the
"-ishes", such as Chinglish, Konglish, and Japlish may in some
ways be considered Pidgins, and yet in some cases they consist of
aggregious errors of translation, which oft times are very hilarious to
native speakers of English. My personal Pidgin Pages are NOT intended
to 'poke fun' but rather to educate. However, if you find some of
the content entertaining, that's fine by me. |
